This epiphytic orchid is found in Northern Madagascar at altitudes around 1500-2000 meters in moss forests with a pendant stem carrying linear-lanceolate, unequally and acutely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a 4 to 12 cm long, 1 to 4 flowered raceme with fleshy flowers.
