| Angraecum cornigerum |
Angraecum cornigerum is endemic of Reunion Island. It can be found in the whole
island in mesothermic forests (1000 to 1500 m). The species is not very common
and very discreet. It grows mostly on the high branches of Nuxia verticillata
("bois maigre"), and on Philippia montana ("branle vert"). In the latter case
one can find very small plants (1 to 2 leaves of a few centimetres length) with
very long roots exploring the surface of the host.
